The Newberry Library’s exhibit curator, author of "Elizabeth
I: Ruler and Legend" and professor of English and art history at the
University of Illinois at Chicago will discuss creating a worldwide exhibit. Reception will follow in Miller Center 114/115.

Wednesday, Sept. 20, 7 pm, Atwood Theater: "Elizabeth the King: The Search for Self" by Robin Johnson and Jeff Huset.
SCSU alum Robin
Johnson will portray Elizabeth I, based on a St. Paul production of Timothy Findley's Elizabeth Rex which she directed and performed.

Renaissance performers, Have Court will Travel, will present a day in Queen Elizabeth's England including presentations on courtly manners, royal weaponry and more. Held in conjunction with SCSU Family Weekend.

Tuesday, Nov. 14 - Sunday, Nov. 19, Center Stage in the Performing Arts Center: SCSU Department of Theatre, Film Studies and Dance will present Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Tickets will be available in Atwood (beginning November 1, 2006).
