Tips for using Interlibrary Loan
When filling out the Interlibrary Loan request form please note:
- Enter your 14-digit barcode (on the back of your Campus Card (starts with 20102...), pictured above) in the User ID/Barcode field and your last name in the Password field. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Circulation desk at 320-308-3083.
- Fields noted with an asterisk (*) are required.
- The "Not Needed After" date you are required to enter is in the form MM/DD/YYYY (i.e., 04/21/2008 for April 14, 2008). This is the date beyond which the information would no longer be useful for your research or study.
- If you are a distance education student, please write "I am a distance student" in the note field and include your current mailing address.

The Interlibrary Loan service is generally free to SCSU students, faculty
and staff and is offered through MINITEX, a cooperative regional interlibrary
loan service, Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) and Learning Resources & Technology Services to provide access to books and
journal/newspaper articles not found in SCSU collections. Materials
may be borrowed from other libraries for periods of 2-4 weeks and may
or may not be renewable; photocopies of articles may be kept.
See the Interlibrary
Loan Borrowing Policy and the Interlibrary
Loan Lending Policy for more information.
