Course/Electronic Reserves
Course reserves are available in print or electronic format. Print reserves are physical materials (books, journals, articles, videos, DVDs, etc.) that are set aside by faculty for the exclusive use of their students. Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves) provides online access to selected course reserve materials.
Finding Print Reserves
Print reserve items can be searched for by course number, department name, item title or instructor's name. Reserve items may be checked out at the Circulation Desk on 1st Floor West.
Finding Electronic Reserves
- Once you are logged in, select the correct course name, and then select the course reserve item by title.
- In order to log in to E-Reserves, you must use your HuskyNetID. If you haven't already done so, you will need to activate your HuskyNetID. You will only be able to access E-Reserves if you are an SCSU faculty member or student and registered for a course that has something on reserve. Reserve items will only be available during the semester that they are posted.
Software requirements for viewing Electronic Reserves
To view text on electronic reserves, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on the computer you are using. Download Acrobat Reader here.
To access audio and video files, you will need Windows Media Player installed on the computer you are using. Download Windows Media Player here.
